Website for Environmental and Social Impact

I designed and built the website for ESI Advisory, a business consultancy with a focus on projects and companies with a strong environmental and social impact agenda. The client required an engaging website that catered to diverse audiences.

ESI Advisory’s eco-conscious approach allowed me to apply my skills to a project aligned with my commitment to green initiatives.

Optimisation and Engagement

It was important that the website be fully responsive and optimised for varying browsers and devices, with web accessibility and optimal user experience also at the forefront of the build.

Animations were integrated into user scroll to add visual appeal and elevate user engagement, creating a memorable journey for every visitor.

Design and Typography

I wanted to produce an engaging design with varied typography, while remaining clear and business-like in overall tone.

Page layouts needed to provide scope for content to be added by the client in simple blocks, while retaining a ‘designed’ feel – which was achieved using CSS (SCSS) to add subtle visual variations between repeated content.

Streamlined Content Management

Since the client had no immediate plans to scale the website beyond the home page, I opted for a custom build and content management system in Craft CMS for its simple and intuitive user interface and streamlined code base.
